Hi Shane
Two of the hospitals on the list for QLD public hospitals are incorrect, Mackay base and Townsville base do not employ anaesthetic technicians, they both employ Enrolled nurses who have done some sort of hospital specific technician course but first and foremost you must be a nurse to work as an anaesthetic assistant / Technician in either. I will let you know if things ever change in Townsville but I dont hold much hope. Regards Paul Dear Bulletin Board Browser, I know that its been a while but an updated hospital list that accepts Anaesthetic Paramedical Officers follows, Queensland Public Hospitals Cairns Base Hospital Toowoomba Gold Coast Mater Health Services- South Brisbane Royal Brisbane & Womens Hospital Nambour QEII Redcliffe Caboolture Prince Charles Royal Childrens' Logan Holy Spirit North Side Mackay Base (not sure, used to I think) Townsville Base Queensland Private Hospitals Mater Private South Brisbane Sunshine Coast Private Pindarra John Flynn Allamanda St Andrews - Brisbane Qld Eye Centre Eye Tech Day Surgeries Wesley Private Northwest Private Cairns Calvary Cairns Day Surgery St Andrews - Toowoomba Brisbane Private Andrea Ahern Private Hospital also known as Caloundra Private Hospital Hope that this helps in the search for that APO job. Cheers Shane Guy ASAPO Public Relations Officer |
