Your feedback on changing drug regulations to permit Anaesthetic Technicians to administer medications under the direction of the anaesthetist is requested. (Currently Anaesthetic Technicians are permitted to administer medications under Section 18 approval from the Chief Health Officer.) A Stakeholder Feedback Form has been developed to ask targeted questions. This form needs to be filled out with reference to the Consultation Paper. Submissions close 15 June. See Memorandum

There are several anaesthetists and anaesthetic organisations who will be making submissions, including ASAPO.
